About Program
The Classical Archaeology PhD program aims to provide students with advanced and expert knowledge on Ancient Anatolian History, focused on topics such as architecture, ceramic, sculpture, coins etc. The objective is to encourage students to write papers on the subjects they study.
Goals
This program aims to provide the candidates with knowledge on antiquity cultures and civilizatoins and the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge and experience through survey studies and excavations carried out by the members of the institution.
This program also aims to train archaelogists and researchers to conduct scientific research and to follow current archaelogical methods and technologies with analytical and critical thinking skills.
Summary of Program Outcomes
The students completed the doctorate programme in Classical Archaeology, will acquire a degree of expertise in specific subject associated with their thesis. They are also expected to make a scientific work and aims to reach a level that will give courses in higher education institutions
