Graduate's Degree Programs of the Department of Korean Language and Literature, help the students to develop themselves on academic fields related to Korean language, culture, philosophy, literature and history.

The aim of the program are educate those who can make researches and critical thinking after informed on Korean language, culture, philosophy, literature and history and also reintegrate those, who can contribute to the development between two countries, into the society.

The students who graduate from the Program have the knowledge of the history of Korea and the structural and morphological characteristics of the Korean language. They gain the skills in these areas that they can make comprehensive analyses and judgments. The students also recognize basic sources in the field and acquire some skills such as making scientific research, critical thinking etc. They also make comprehensive contrastive researches in the field of the language, history, literature etc. of both countries (Turkey and Korea) with the background knowledge they have collected during the program.
