About Program
In recent years in the media, the phrase “it is necessary to think from a global perspective” has come to inform our experience. Most global problems arise from regional problems such as conflicts between cultures, races, or economies. Consequently, in order that we accurately grasp global problems, it is indispensable that we deeply understand the issues and cultures concerning local regions.
Goals
The programme emphasizes different regional and theoretical perspectives on globalization. Students learn to approach the world and globalization from various regional perspectives by engaging in research within very different academic and cultural environments.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Based on Master’s qualifications, students improve their knowledge about theory and practice regarding Global and Regional Studies and learn about new concepts, theories, and practices. With the help of other disciplinary perspectives on global and regional politics, comparative politics and political science students, it develops an interdisciplinary analysis.
