Turkish Religious Mûsic is a main branch of science at the University of Ankara in the Faculty of Divinity attached to Department of Islamic History and Arts. It's aim to developping knowledges of professional music and it's practicing at the level Doktorate.

The aim of this lesson is to give information to the students about elementary of knowledge on Turkish Music. To teach them about the signs, simple mods, the migrated and combined mods. In this lesson, the students gain the ability of reading and deciphering the notes to learn the religous compositions from the main sources. In this lesson it is aimed that to give general knowledge about rhytims and especially about practice of used rhytims in Turkish Music. In this lessons it is worked that practicing of the mods and rhytims in religous forms. In this lessons it is taugt that how to compose the religous forms and how to make notes the tunes of composations and their details.
