Master with thesis program of History Deparment (Modern History) follows an education program which causes the students to gain speciality about Ottoman and World History from the end of the 18th century. To this field, Modern Ottoman History, Modern European History and Contemporary World History are also included. However, speciliazing in one subject is supported.  

The aim is to raise students who are sensitive to people, society and the environment, in the desire and effort to have the proficiencies that the field requires, have the discipline based on scientific approach, use the modern educational methods, and are creative and productive.

The student who graduates from the program,

Understands the world history entirely and has the information about Ottoman, European, World history from the late 18th century based on sources.
