About Program
Doctorate Programme in History (History of New Age) Department covers (mainly Ottoman History) the political, economical, social and cultural aspects of the history of New Age starting from the conquest of Istanbul (1453) to French Revolution (1789), by comparing with the important events in the World history.
Goals
The subjects covered in scope of the history of New Age, are taught in academical way and it is aimed that students ground their studies in scientifical approach, use modern education methods, gain the ability of analitical thinking and raised as productive individuals.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Students graduated from this programme, can perceive all aspects of the history of New Agge by impoving their knowledge and gain the ability of analitical thinking. Also students will specialize on the field of their thesis subject and take steps towards being a competent academician and scientist.
