About Program
In Postgraduate education of Greek language and literature department, is made translation and textual analysis of the most important works of Ancient Greek
literature, such as epos, history, rhetoric, philosophy, tragedy and
comedy. By making these translations, is examined the socio-cultural, economic and political structure of Ancient Greek society to give the meaning and comment the Greek texts wihtinside the historical perspective.
Goals
In Postgraduate education of Greek language and literature department, allows to develop student's ability to analyze texts and make preliminary preparation for thesis, by making translation of the most important works of Ancient Greek literature, such as epos, history, rhetoric, philosophy, tragedy and comedy. Also, motivates student's to engage in research about the socio-cultural, economic and political structure of Ancient Greek Society by using second hand sources.
Summary of Program Outcomes
The student, gained the suffient equipment in analysing the texts of Ancient Greek Literature,reachs the ability by which gives meaning and comment to the structure of socio-cultural, economic and political of ancient greek society.Besides,the student reach the degree of evaluating the equipment, whichAncient Greek philology provides.
