Doctorate program of medical biochemistry is given by Department of Medical Biochemistry at the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. There are 5 professors, 1 associate professor and 1 assistant professor at the department.

To graduate academically enthusiastic and ready scholars who are able to do independent studies about biochemistry, who are able to investigate scientific events with a wide and deepened perspective and who are able to determine the steps required in order to reach new targets.

​Student who graduate from the program; by improving his/her knowledge at advance level on the structure and mechanism in the field of biochemistry and conduct original researches. He/she has information about the devices and equipment used in biochemistry laboratories. He/she applies the laboratory safety measures and knows the methodology development. He/she follows the innovations in the field and publishes scientific articles.
