Department of European Union and International Economic Relations, EU-International relations Ph.D. Programme follows a curriculum which focuses on reviewing European integration process within the scope of international relations theories and gaining knowledge and skills on it. Programme provides specialization in internal and external dynamics of European integration and its relations with third countries and Turkey.

The purpose of the Programme is to educate researchers and experts with deep understanding Euroepean integration within the discipline of international relations; who could play an active role in Turkey – EU relations.

Graduates of the Programme have knowledge on history, theories and dynamics of the European integration. Graduates have deep expertise knowledge and have skills of analysis, synthesis and evaluation within this field. Graduates are able to work independently in this field and have the competence to take responsibility.
