Getting information about Arabic language philosophy, lexicology, phonology of Arabic language, morphology, phonology and morphology of Semitic languages.Students alson get general information about rhetoric, classical Arabic poetry, Arabic prosody and they can work on these areas.

The aim of the PhD program in Arabic Language and Rhetoric Department is to educate those who produce knowledge in Arabic language field, do researches in national and international scales, contribute to the field in an analytic and synthetic approach and share the knowledge with other academics in national and international levels.

Have a good command on the subjects, methods and problems of the Arabic language field. Have the ability to evaluate and comment according to the received knowledge . Have the ability to think on the field in a critical, logical and systematical way.
