About Program
The Master’s Programme of Adult Education was first established in 1968 as “Popular Education”. The programme has gone through some changes and as a result it has changed into “Lifelong Learning and Adult Education” in 2009. The adult education master’s degree programme is conducted by 2 professors, 2 associated professors and 1 lecturer. The contents of the thesis and non-thesis programme are the same whereas there is no condition for a foreign language in non-thesis programme.
Goals
The purpose of the programme is to upskill the participants for planning and conducting the projects and researches in public, private and general institutions, for methods and techniques of adult education and for training educators.
Summary of Program Outcomes
The graduates are expected to relate the academic knowledge with the problems of adult education. They are informed on the theoretical foundations and the fields of programme of adult education and they have the ability plan and conduct adult education programmes.
