Preschool Education Doctorate Program aims at improving the quality of preschool educators, training the qualified educators and contributing the educators’ professional development. With this program training educators who participate in the labor force, contribute the social and economic development by growing productive individuals,  supporting community development while supporting children’s individual development are aimed. Moreover, training more competent  and knowledgeable educators in the field;  bringing scientific knowledge into the field, producing information and spreading it, making studies to guide preschool teachers and preschool children’s families, discussing the results of studies in scientific meetings are the main purposes of the program. 

To contribute the graduate education of the instructors who are assigned in the department of preschool education of the education faculties at the universities and to provide them gain the ability to access the knowledge related with the area, to evaluate and to interpret the knowledge.

Graduates evaluate the children’s development and the factors effecting them (family members, teachers, educational programs, directors of the institutions and etc.) using both qualitative and quantitative measurement procedures and techniques. Graduates use the both institutional and applied knowledge related with preschool education in specialist level. Graduates share national and international knowledge related with her field verbally and written.
