About Program
The Social Security Program, which was opened in 2017-18 academic year, is aimed to educate qualified intermediate staff in the field of social security. The program includes basic theoretical knowledge in the fields of economics, law and social security, as well as practical courses that will strengthen the employment of our students in public institutions and private sector. The program has been strengthened to enable students and professionals from the public and private sectors to meet. In order to ensure that our students have full knowledge of their professions, they are required to be ready for their study life in their working life with the attendance of compulsory internship programs during the summer semesters. Foreign language education, which is essential for the training of qualified staff, is supported by foreign language lessons and foreign language resources which are taught in courses. Seminars and conferences organized with the participation of local and foreign specialists regularly in order that our students can be ready for their working life during the training period as well as lessons can be opened for the tuition fee to benefit from the knowledge and experience of the experts in the sector.
Goals
The main aim of the Social Security Program is to educate intermediary personnel who will be able to carry out all the procedures related to social security and / or personnel and personal affairs of public institutions and private enterprises and at the same time the judge will be able to meet the requirements of social nature of working life. The main goal in our education is to gain the ability to enable strong communication and analytic thinking, as well as the technical knowledge and qualifications that our students will need in future periods.
Summary of Program Outcomes
The Social Security Program graduates are at the core of basic knowledge in the fields of law, economics and management. They can organize and manage the social security departments. They can practice social security applications. They are conscious of the coorperation with the fundamental actors of a social security system. They gain the awareness of ethical and social responsibility of their profession.
