Fundamentals of Business Administration Department was laid in 1958 with the establishment of Business Economics and Accounting Institute. In 1966, with an amendment to the Regulations on Undergraduate Education and Examination, Department of management established in addition to Finance-Economics Department, Department of Politics-Administration and International Relations Department at the Faculty of Political Sciences.

Department of management has started training with 77 students in 1968-1969 academic year. Progmam gave its first graduates in the academic year 1969-70. The department includes six branches: Cooperative, Accounting and Finance, Quantitative Methods, Business Law, Production Management and Marketing, Management and Organization.

The purpose of the program; to expertise students in basic management issues like production marketing, finance, accounting, and organization by equipping management and other related disciplines; to provide graduates who can produce solutions to various business and management problems by using coordination and monitoring mechanisms and human resources in the most effective manner.to educate innovative, creative, entrepreneurial individuals.

Synthesize global and local management information. Analyze the company's internal and external environment, evaluates the developments. Detect and solve basic problems encountered in business.
