Accelerator and Detector Technologies Master's Program is a program established under the "Accelerator Technologies Department" at Ankara University, Accelerator Technologies Institute, and the language of the program is Turkish. The aim of the program is to provide theoretical and practical training about accelerators, detectors and their related technologies.

The aim of the Accelerators and Detector Technologies Master of Science Program is to educate the students who have undergraduate education in different departments of fundamental sciences and engineering related about Advanced Technologies, Space, Health, Defense, Nuclear Science, Communication, etc. In research and development activities that can be done by our students through accelerator and detector technologies in sectors, accepted interdisciplinary cooperation, experienced in vacuum, radiation, control systems, skilled in repair and maintenance work, compatible in team work, able to design, operate and manage systems, can use systems in particle accelerators, radiation sources, detector, data analysis systems , researchers, skilled and technical knowledge.

Students enrolled in the program have sufficient infrastructure in the theoretical and practical areas related to accelerator systems. The program acquires the ability to calculate in accelerator and related sub hardware areas using the physical methods to be achieved. He can use his equipment in experimental and measurement techniques related to different disciplines using small and large scale acceleration and can interpret the results scientifically.
