About Program

This program consists of 8 semesters and various courses in geography discipline for undergraduate students. The program includes compulsory and selective courses and field studies in different semesters.

Goals

The aim of program is to educate students as geographer and/or geography teacher candidates who grip the complex inter-relation between human societies and the physical components of earth; comprehends big differences and dynamics in political and economic systems in time and space; analyze the connection of physical processes between past and future; gain occupational competence and ethical responsibility; perceive continuous improvement as a way of life; adopt scientific way of thinking; recognize public interests; use information and communication technology effectively; have spatial/environmental perspective.

Summary of Program Outcomes

Describe and exemplify the nature of change in human environments. Describe, study and exemplify the mutual relationship between the physical, social and built environments. Describe, study and exemplify the diversity and relationships between the physical, social and bulit environments in different spatial scales.
