About Program
The Polish Language and Culture Program, which was opened in 1986, aims
to introduce Polish language and culture; to give students the ability
to use this language. In this direction, phonetics, grammar,
translation, cultural history and literary history lessons are given in

Goals
To train qualified individuals who can serve as specialists about Polish literature, culture, history, language, cinema; about knowledge of historical, social, economic, political, philosophical, scientific and literary developments, adopting scientific thinking, effective use of knowledge and technology, creative and critical thinker academics and language.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Graduates are able to make comprehensive and versatile research on Polish literature. Translate Polish texts into Turkish and vice versa. Gain Polish verbal and writing skills. Read Polish texts and examine content and meaning of it in frame of linguistic features.
