Our program provides two years associate degree education. Those who successfully complete their education are awarded the "Alternative Energy Resources Technology" associate degree diploma and the "Technician" title. Students who graduated from Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program; They can work in organizations operating in the field of energy production and distribution in the sector, organizations that produce goods based on energy technology, or organizations that produce maintenance and service for all these technologies. Apart from that, they can also be employed in energy-based environmental technology producers or service producers in the related field. After our students graduate from the Alternative Energy Resources Program, they can be successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam held by ÖSYM. They can complete their undergraduate education in Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Electronic Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Physics departments.

Due to reasons such as fossil-derived energy sources being expensive and finite, creating climate change and environmental pollution, it has brought the need to research and manage natural and inexhaustible energy resources such as wind, solar, geothermal, and hydroelectric. In this context, the need for technical personnel who can take part in the production, establishment and operation of alternative energy systems is increasing. The aim of this program is to train qualified and active intermediate staff who can work in other sectors, especially in the primary energy sector, by providing a high-standard training on the use of alternative energy resources in the sector and knowing the systems required for these resources.
