About Program
The master's program in Contemporary Greek Language and Culture aims to provide a holistic approach to Contemporary Greek Language as well as culture, history, literature, politics and geography of Greece. In addition, the program aims to train faculty members in the field of Contemporary Greek Language and Literature.

Summary of Program Outcomes
Recognizes contemporary Greek language and culture with its historical background and current processes. Conducts comparative research in field of Language and Linguistics. Makes comparative literary studies using the knowledge and skills related to Modern Greek Language and Literature. Uses Modern Greek language as an academic language in scientific research.
