About Program
The Master's Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, with a thesis, aims to train graduates who acquire advanced knowledge and skills in the field of obstetrics and gynecological nursing. Graduates of the program apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in the areas of practice, education, and research.
Goals
Women's health is a crucial field directly impacting women themselves and having a direct interaction with child and family health. Therefore, improvements in this field will have positive implications not only for women's health but also for various other areas. The Thesis-based Master's Program in Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing aims to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in sexual health/reproductive health, contributing to the preservation and enhancement of women's health. The program also aims to contribute to the scientific development of nursing, as well as to train faculty members for undergraduate nursing schools.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Based on the Nursing undergraduate level qualifications, the student has up-to-date knowledge in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, can develop and deepen them. The student can use, develop and deepen the theoretical and applied knowledge gained in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing. The student will be able to conduct research based on scientific research methods for the solution of problems related to perinatology nursing and Gynecology nursing. The student can develop solution proposals and produce solutions by taking responsibility in the complex situations that she will encounter in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing.The student uses information and communication technologies in her field studies.The student can select, calculate and interpret the correct statistical methods while conducting research in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing; have the ability to perform statistical analysis at a level that can read and evaluate a scientific article
