The Department of Climate Change and Sustainability, which was established in 2023 to provide interdisciplinary graduate education, has been offering master's degree education with thesis since the spring semester of 2023-2024.

Climate Change and Sustainability Department examines the effects of climate change at international, national, regional and local levels in all sectors and fields (industry, energy, agriculture-food, natural resources, health, buildings, cities, rural areas, tourism, transportation, etc.). It is an interdisciplinary Department that conducts technical, economic, socio-economic and policy research on adaptation and mitigation. It aims to increase the number of researchers and researchers needed by our country on climate change and sustainability, to train experts on the subject, and to assist decision makers in their decisions with scientific knowledge by communicating the research results.

Within the scope ofClimate Change and Sustainabililty, it is gained knowledge of structural development of sectors and how to improve it.
