Goals The aim of this lecture is to introduce social anthropology's basic notions and sub diciplines and to inform about the history,, the methodology, research subjects and main schools in social anthropology.
Course Content Basic notions in Social Anthropology, History of social anthropology and its relation with kinship, religion, economy and gender.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learning the basic notions
2) Evaluation of ethnographical method
3) Reading and interprating, within lecture discussions
4) Introduction to anthropology's research subjects
5) Social Anthropology within the frame of gender, potency, ethnicity, belief and social class based relations
