Goals The goal of this course is to introduce Korean phonetics.
Course Content It’s given information about Korean phonetics.
Learning Outcomes 1) General knowledge about intonation types and intonation patterns.
2) Concept of core intonation is learnt and the usage of core intonation is acquired.
3) General knowledge about intonation patterns and acquire the ability of distinguishing intonation types
4) General knowledge and usage honorific system of Korean and types of honorific system (Subject honorific system, object honorific system and listener honorific system)
5) Distinguishing different types of sentences according to intonation patterns and acquire the ability of usage.
6) Intonation differences according to sentence types are learnt and have knowledge of intonation patterns.
7) Acquire the ability of distinguishing the differences of meaning differences due to intonational differences.
8) Learning different types of sentences due to intonational differences and having knowledge of usage of these sentence types.
