Goals The goal of this course is to introduce and comprehend an Ancient Korean Literature.
Course Content The development of Ancient Korean Literature is taught.
Learning Outcomes 1) Information about Ancient Korean literature is learnt.
2) Sino-Korean literature is learnt.
3) Dangun Myth and Koguryo Kingdom’s Founding Myth is learnt.
4) The poem which is called “congıbsa” is learnt.
5) Shilla Kingdom’s Founding Myth is learnt.
6) “Chongyong’ga”, “Cemengme’ga”, “Gaşiri” is analysed.
7) Traditional Korean short poem which is called “sijo” is learnt and examples are analyed.
8) The short ancient story which is called “Yangban Chon” is analysed.
9) Literature movements about Korean Literature is learnt.
10) Ancient Korean Literature works are learnt.
11) Basic Ancient Korean Literature terms are learnt.
12) Periods of Ancient Korean Literature and its distinctive features are learnt.
