Goals To gain the ability to analyse old Turkish Literature products in terms of literary and artistic values.
Course Content Theoretical knowledge ("hakikat", "mecaz", "teşbih" ...) that will be able to analyse the old Turkish Literature products in terms of literary and artistic values and texts to be applied to these information.
Learning Outcomes 1) Understand the importance and function of literary arts in terms of texts.
2) Can determine the relation between word and meaning; the relation between true meaning, connotation and metaphorical meaning.
3) Go by the distinction between art of word and meaning. Relations between literary arts can be related to meaning relations (meaning proximity / opposition).
4) Recognize and define vocabulary based on voice and word repetition.
5) Knows and defines arts based on the use of common materials.
