Goals To inform and to make the students understand the characteristics of Servet-i Fünun and Fecr-i Ati Literature with the help of models text and the importance of Servet-i Fünun and Fecr-i Ati in the process of the modernization of Turkish literature.
Course Content In this course, the literature of the era of Servet-i Fünun and Fecr-i Ati (1896-1912) which has got the shape due to the periodical Servet- i Fünun, the social historical conditions, literary discussion, biographies of poets and writers, and in the term of model texts have been evaluated.
Learning Outcomes 1) This course inform students on Turkish Literature of the Servt-i Fünun and Fecr-i Ati Period and its distinctive feature.
2) Analyzing the texts belong to Servet-i Fünun and Fecr-i Ati Period.
3) to inform important writers and poets of Servet-i Fünun and Fecr-i Ati Period.
