Goals Objectives of this course is to examine the construction of the Turkish language between the 15-19. century. This will be achieved by studying the specifities of Chagatay literature, the poems and writings from the original script of Ali Şir Nevayî, Hüseyin Baykara, etc. who have been the important representatives of that contemporary time.
Course Content Grammatical features of Chagatay Turkish language (15.-19. cc) are examined by considering its representatives and monuments.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learns the reasons for the differences Chaghatay.
2) Learn Chaghatay properties.
3) Learn new information about Chagatai period.
4) Learn the language of period through text analysis
