Goals To provide a healthy and safe environment for workplaces, reduce work accidents and occupational diseases, inform employees about legal rights and responsibilities, to teach the occupational risks they face and the precautions to be taken against these risks and to gain proper behavior by forming awareness of health and safety.
Course Content OHS in Turkey and the world,the concepts and the development of OHS boards, OHS Law, OHS Services and boards, Ergonomics, chemical risk factors, Biological risk factors, psychosocial risk factors, physical risk factors, occupational diseases and Adult Education, Risk Management,
Learning Outcomes 1) Defines the concept of occupational health and safety.
2) To summarizes the historical development of occupational safety and health in the Turkey and the word
3) Describes contemporary business health and safety approach
4) It specifies the principles of occupational health and safety
5) Know what to do in case of a fire
6) Make the definition of work hygiene, tell its scope and dimensions.
7) It makes the risk analysis of the institution it works and can take the necessary precautions in this direction
8) They reveal the meanings of health and safety signs.
9) They disclose methods for preventing occupational accidents.
