Goals To use the knowledge of Latin Language properly through the Latin texts, to gain skill for translations and interpretation.
Course Content Through the selected original texts of the foremost prose writers of Latin literature to acknowledge the Roman world first and then the whole classical world of literature.
Learning Outcomes 1) Determines cases and construction of sentences and analyses them correctly
2) Analyses the text in terms of history and translates it to Turkish
3) Studies the etymology of Latin words and using this ability learns easiliy a European Language aroginated from Latin
4) Evaluates the political history the public construction of Rome
5) Learns the effects of historical events on Latin titerature
6) Knows prose writers and their works
