Goals The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize the vine plants and theoretical and practical to have a basic knowledge of farming vine plants.
Course Content History of viticulture, classification of grapes, viticulture of Turkey and World, ecological demands of grapevine, establishment of vineyard, cultural applications In vineyards, new viticulture techniques
Learning Outcomes 1) It describes the history of the vine roots and vines.
2) Explain comparative world and Turkey viticulture.
3) Recognize the morphological organs of the vine.
4) Explain the climate and soil of the vine.
5) It recognizes that local and international grape varieties grown in our country.
6) It applies cultural processes in the vineyard.
7) Fulfill their duties in the vineyard plantings.
