Goals The aim of this course is to raise awareness about cultural heritage, to make students comprehend traditional and cultural values ​​and the relationship of these values ​​with geographical indication, to emphasize the place and importance of these values ​​in museums and to transfer the tradition to young generations in this direction.
Course Content The course content consists of the concept of geographical indication, geographical indication types, handicraft and geographical indication relationship, museum types, traditional toys, toy museums, city museums, geographical signs of Ankara, and marketing in the museum.
Learning Outcomes 1) Definition of geographical indication
2) Distinguishes the importance of rural and cultural tourism
3) Promote interest in cultural events, evaluate these events
