Goals This course will be started by historical methodology which is related with approaching to the material of main sources and historical works. The description of the Arabian background of the life of Prophet Muhammad will explore for a proper understanding of his career and achievements. This course also will cover Prophet Muhammad’s early life, his mission and acts during the Meccan and Medinan period.
Course Content This course will present the life of the Prophet Muhammad according to the main sources and historical works.
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows the bases of methodology of history
2) Knows the main sources about Hz. Muhammad's life
3) Knows scientific research on Muhammad's life.
4) Recognizes the personality of Muhammad.
5) Chronologically sorts the events that took place during the period of prophethood of Muhammad.
6) Exemplifies the change that took place in the Arabian peninsula during the time of Muhammad.
7) Critically evaluates the literature on Muhammad's life.
8) Explores the life of Muhammad in the form of individual and group work.
