Goals Psychology of religion aims to investigate religious feelings, thoughts and behaviours.
Course Content The topics of Psychology of Religion can be listed as follows: 1. Religious thoughts and the image of God 2. Attachment style to God 3. Religious thought, emotions and behaviours and the factors affecting those 4. The emergence of religion and belief in God 5. Religious change 6. Religious attribution 7. Types of religiosity 8. Religious development 9. The relationship between religion, belief and health 10. Just world belief 11. The relationship between religion and value
Learning Outcomes 1) Learn the field of psychology of religion in general terms
2) Have detailed information about the historical process and the stages of psychology of religion.
3) Know the basic theories and terminology used in psychology of religion
4) Know the purpose of the science of Psychology of religion
5) Evaluate the approaches to the psychology of religion and comprehends the basic approach of an independent discipline.
6) Develops a scientific perspective on the field.
