Goals Examination of the structures of the sound clusters (chords) and their relations to each other within the tonal boundaries. Sounds out of chord. Progression of counterpoint (horizontal polyphony) information.
Course Content Classification of nonchalant sounds (processing, passage, apogee, etc.). Adding non-chordal sounds to simple harmony exercises. Analysis of non-chordal sounds in sample works, counterpoint recall. Improvisation of improvised voices in the cadences. Analysis of non-chordal sounds in sample works, introduction to free counterpoint. Armonide alteration, sample free running counterpoint analysis.
