Goals This course aims to enable the student to develop the use of the primary health care approach and the roles of public health nursing to evaluate the health of the family and society and to re-strengthen it in case of deviation from health.
Course Content This course covers teaching the primary health care approach and the roles of public health nursing to assess family and community health and reinvigorate it in case of health deviation.
Learning Outcomes 1) Relates nursing care with primary health care approach.
2) Comprehends the health problems in the living areas of the society.
3) Defines the roles of public health nurses in public health service delivery.
4) Defines the roles of public health nurses in public health service delivery.
5) Critically discuss the delivery of home care services.
6) Explain the factors affecting the mental health of the society, disorders and nursing approaches.
