Goals The aim of this course is to enable the student to use and develop the basic health services approach and the roles of public health nursing in order to evaluate the health of the individual, family and society in the living areas and to strengthen them in case of deviation from health.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, the student practices in primary health care institutions.
Learning Outcomes 1) Fulfill the roles and responsibilities of public health nursing.
2) Evaluates individual/family and community health.
3) Knows the importance of school health, identifies risks and implements appropriate interventions.
4) Knows the importance of occupational health, identifies risks in work areas and implements appropriate initiatives.
5) Thinks critically in situations affecting individual/family and community health, plans and implements initiatives.
6) Provides culture- and age-specific nursing care.
7) Uses electronic recording systems.
