Goals The aim of this course is to understand the historical development, philosophy, roles and responsibilities of public health nursing, to use the knowledge gained in the evaluation of individual / family / community health in institutions providing primary health care, and to develop nursing practices appropriate to the changing health needs and resources of the society.
Course Content This course covers the historical development, philosophy, roles and responsibilities of public health nursing, using the knowledge gained in primary health care institutions in the evaluation of individual/family/community health, and nursing practices suitable for the changing health needs and resources of the society.
Learning Outcomes 1) Understand philosophy of, Public health nursing.
2) Understand the roles and responsibility of Public health nurse.
3) Evaluates individual/family and community health.
4) Analyze the importance of the public health nurse in the organization and execution of health services.
5) Performs nursing practices according to the changing health needs and resources of the society.
