Goals This course gives the student the ability to know the conceptual framework and importance of nursing, to analyze concepts, to determine the relationships between concepts, and to look at nursing theory and practice from a conceptual perspective.
Course Content This course includes the importance of concept in nursing, basic concepts concept analysis, human and related concepts, health/disease and related concepts, nursing and related concepts, environment and related concepts, relationship between human, health, nursing, and environment concepts.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains human, environment, health and nursing concepts.
2) Discuss the importance of concepts for nursing science.
3) Makes concept analysis.
4) Analyze the relations between concepts.
5) Combine concepts with practice to bring new interpretations.
6) Follows developments in the conceptual area.
