Goals Discussing the roles and functions of the social work profession in the justice system, examining the place of the social worker in the justice system, observing the international and national legislation within the scope and purpose of the social work profession, evaluating the existing system and practices in Turkey from the professional point of view.

Learning Outcomes 1) 1) S/he understands crime behavior, suicide orientation, social integration and treatman models
2) 2) S/he understands the roles and functions of the social work profession in the justice system
3) 3) S/he analyzes national and international legislation comparatively
4) 4) S/he Gains necessary skills in social service intervention in the process of integrating of criminal individual into society.
