Goals Understanding structure, organization and function of human genome
Course Content Classification of genetic diseases, types of inheritance, clinical cytogenetics, types of mutation and polymorphism, susceptibility to cancer and diseases.
Learning Outcomes 1) Structure and function of genes and chromosomes, mitosis, meiosis, information about inheritance concepts
2) To be able to make comments using basic concepts in molecular biology and genetics
