Goals Developments after 1789 not only form the beginning of Europe but also the beginning of the world. This new system introduced a variety of political institutions. This new concept forms the basic of political concept and political institutions of the modern world. Developments in North America, Africa, China and Japan at East Asia and Africa and colonial activities of European states are examined. In this respect, in parallel with European History Course, Its aim is to give social, political and economic of the Contemporary History.
Course Content American History, Developments in Africa and the Far-East Asia are analyzed in terms of social and political progress in XVIII. and XX. century.
Learning Outcomes 1) To review the world's historical events from the past to the present.
2) To interpret the general course of Turkish history in World politics.
3) To provide useful guidance for undergrauates to broaden their academic horizons in History.
