Goals In this course, based on the ethical rules, teaching of necessary points to be taken into consideration for planning a scientific research in a specific way, data gathering and data collection techniques, evaluation of data, presentation of research results and providing necessary knowledge and skills for sharing the results of the students' research in different stakeholder groups were aimed.
Course Content The course includes the determination of priorities in research areas, points and ethical rules to to be taken into consideration when planning a specific research, the factors affecting the reliability of the research and research design, the methods of data collection during the execution of the research, the processing of the data and the ways in which the results of the research are transformed into a presentation or article.
Learning Outcomes 1) Is aware of the importance of ethics in the planning, execution and submission of research.
2) Can explain the basic concepts of research methods.
3) Knows the stages of a scientific research.
4) Knows the importance of priority research areas in relation to the field of specialization
5) Can plan experimental research on the field of specialization
6) Knows the reliability limits in experimental research and data collection period
7) Gains synthesis and interpretation skills for research results within ethical rules
8) Learns, applies and can teach the reporting techniques of research results
9) Learns how to organize the research results for different presentation platforms (national and international conferences, journals).
