Goals Basic and practical information about insect behavior will be given and studies based on behavior to solve plant protection problems will be narrated.
Course Content Factors that affect insect behavior, the methodologies used in insect behavior, monitoring of insect behavior, behavioral data recording and performing statistical analysis, host location and host selection, insect host location, recognition of host, host rejection, superparasitism, host feeding behavior, mating behavior in insects, insect behavior and community ecology.
Learning Outcomes 1) Analyze the factors affecting insect behavior.
