Goals The goal: nematod damage types and symptomatology. Control of nematods. Different control methods, using tolearnt and reisistant plants. İmportant nematicides especially fumigants. The aim of the courses are to give theorotical information about biology, life cycle, ecology simptomatology, morphology and identification. Their control methods. Natural enemies and entegrated nematod management.
Course Content History of nematods. Sampling of the nematod samples and assesment of nematod density. Systematic of nematodes, their biology and economic importance. General characteristics of nematods. Distribution of the habitat of different nematod groups. Morphology, anatomy and identification of the nematods. Symptom of the nematod pests. Economic importance of nematods. Host plant prefference of nematods and relation of the other soil microorganism. Different organ systems and reproduction. Their biology and ecology and identifications. Nematod eceology and distribution. Natural enemies of the nematods . Their damage types and symptomatology. Control of nematods. Different control methods, using tolearnt and reisistant plants. İmportant nematicides especially fumigants.
