Goals To examine the bases of scientific research and scientific research methods, to teach ethical and unethical behaviors in scientific researches, to teach the evaluation and reporting of the results of scientific research. In addition, the current problems related to the field are to provide solution suggestions within the framework of scientific ethics.
Course Content Concepts of science and scientific thinking, scientific research process: Problem formulation, literature review, data collection-analysis-interpretation, evaluation and testing of results, reporting of scientific research (oral presentation, poster presentation, article, project preparation). Ethics, ethics of scientific research and ethics of publication. Current studies on the field, reviewing and understanding, developing, identifying the missing sub-problems and fields, bringing new suggestions.
Learning Outcomes 1) Applies scientific information access and data collection methods.
2) Can prepare a research report
3) Can summarize the results of the required literature review for the purpose.
4) Have ability to analyze and report on the results of scientific research, awareness of basic research methods and ethical principles.
5) Have knowledge in scientific and ethical issues can prevent unethical behavior.
6) Being able to have researcher qualification with occupational sense of responsibility and scientific ethics.
7) Can prepare an expert report for interdisciplinary studies related field.
