Goals To give basic information about separation methods and to inform them about their applications
Course Content Classification of seperation methods, physical seperation methods, chemical and physicochemical seperation methods, solvent extraction, solid phase extraction, planar layer extraction, electrochemical seperation method, preconcentration.
Learning Outcomes 1) Categorize separation methods
2) Applies physical separation methods
3) Learn the application of chemical and physicochemical seperation methods
4) Learns how to use the extraction methods and in what situations.
5) Learns planar chromatography
6) Defines enrichment. Realizes that they can be used for enriching the separation methods they learn
