Goals Teaching basic concepts related to the polymers and thier structures and giving detailed information related to the properties of polymers
Course Content polymer termination, the classification and denomination of polymers, properties of polymers, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, the fraction and fraction methods, the molecular weight determination methods of polymers, condensation polymerization, the kinetics of condensation polymerization, free radical chain polymerization, the kinetics of free radical chain polymerization, determination of rate constants in free radical chain polymerization, measurement of a polymerization rate.
Learning Outcomes 1) The student classifies the polymers.
2) The Student identifies the properties of polymers.
3) The student interprets the molar mass of the polymers and the molecular mass distribution in the polymers.
4) The student expresses the polymerization methods.
5) The student associates the materials he/she encountered in daily life with the polymers that are learned in lecture.
