Goals The basic concepts and approaches of the theory of consumption, the consumer's role in the economy, consumer behavior models, and consumer market segmentation, consumer research and to construct theoretical and practical studies about the application
Course Content The concept of consumer and varieties, characteristics of consumer goods and markets, consumers' role in the market, the factors affecting consumer attitudes and behaviors, the planning of consumption and the importance of family budgeting, family savings and investment patterns, good shopping rules, the consumption economy and consumer behavior theories, improvements of marketing approaches and consumer relationship, the consumer markets’ segmentation criteria, consumer behavior models, manipulating of consumer researches.
Learning Outcomes 1) The basic concepts and approaches of the theory of consumption, the consumer's role in the economy, consumer behavior models, and consumer market segmentation, consumer research and to construct theoretical and practical studies about the application
2) Have knowledge about consumer behavior models
3) To have information about demand and consumption theory
