Goals Students will be informed about the concepts related to environment, environmental problems caused agricultural activities and the reasons,the policies that are applied to the in the European Union in order to prevent these problems. The development of the skills agricultural policies which are applied in Turkey to be associated with for environment are intended.
Course Content Concepts related to environment, environmental problems caused agricultural activities, agri- environment policy in European Union, international agreements in field of agri-environment, policy measures addressing agri-environment in Turkey. GMO production data in the world , the potential effects of modern biotechnology on biodiversity, human health and sosyo-economic structure. Further world trade of genetically modified foods and legal arrangements related GMO are included in the content this course
