The growth in plants, past and definition of plant growth regulators, importance of growth regulators at field crops, effect of these materials on plant physiology and morphology, their uptake and transportation mechanism by plants, utilisation area on field cultivation and future prospects of growth regulators, additions of negative and positive, classification of plant growth regulators: Auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, abscisic acid, polyamines ethylene, salisilates, jasmonades and brassinolides are discussed.
